Strange 4850 issue - screen too high

I've had my Visiontek 4850 ever since it hit the shelves at BB. It replaced my eVGA 8800GT.

After installing it I began to notice that the screen was a tad too high on my Westinghouse LVM-47w1 LCD TV. I have the res set to 1920x1080 at 60Hz.

Here's what it looks like. I maximize an application in Vista Ult x64, say Firefox 3.0.1, and the Firefox icon on the upper left has it's top quarter above the display area. Also, the bottom of the screen has a thin dark bar at the bottom since the entire viewing area is too high. Sometimes that bar at the bottom will change colors depending on what's on the screen.

This happens no matter which DVI port I use on the card or TV and it didn't happen with my 8800GT.

This has been happening with Cat 8.6 Hotfix and with 8.7. I've tried using GPU scaling in CC and that doesn't help.

Any ideas?
 
Try unchecking the "Reduce DVI Frequency" option. That fixed a screen position problem for me on my Westy 37"
 
You can probably scoot the screen location around within CCC. I remember I used to have to piddle with it a lot to get it to look right on my old CRT TV.
