The gaming forum seemed like the best place to put this, as 3DMark06 is "The Gamers' Benchmark".
Running my Opt 165 at 2.5 GHz and my memory at 208.5 MHz, my CPU score was 1921.
A day later, same setup yielded a CPU score of 1871. And dropping the multi to run the memory at 192 MHz gave me a CPU score of 1878 - a slight increase.
The only difference between the OC'd 165 today and yesterday is that I'm running a lower voltage today. Can voltage affect CPU performance even if the FSB remains the same??
