Goal : 3GHz

CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo E6600 Stepping B2
Mainboard: ASUS P5B-Deluxe Non-WiFi
Memory: Crucial Ballistix 4GB DDR2 PC6400 (800MHz) 4-4-4-12 @ 2v
Video: MSI N260GTX (G.clock 620MHz / P.clock 1296MHz / M.clock 2160MHz)
Operating System: Vista Ultimate 64bit

Notes : I'm aiming for 3GHz as the line. Last time I tried this, going for 3.24GHz, I blew up my memory. Initial phase will follow finding a stable Vcore voltage using Prime95 in 15 min, 2 hour, 4 hour, and finally 24 hour testing periods. Case is well ventilated with 2x120mm high speed intake fans, 1x80mm high speed exhaust fan, and a Zalman CNPS9300 AT CPU Fan.

Test Phase 1

Vcore - Adjusting increments

I will update the first post as data becomes available. If you have any advice, please don't hesitate to speak up. I read a C2D overclock guide (version 1.6), can't recall who wrote it but most of the information was off a P5B Deluxe board (which made it easier to understand.) I'm hoping to provide data that will be useful to someone else who may want to overclock with the same hardware I have. I could really use the advice of others while I do this, I'm by far not an expert in overclocking.
