Does anyone have personal experiences with any of these that they'd be willing to share, any suggestions on which one?

Only with the 6Gv2.

It's well built. People complain about the key lay out but I have no problems with it. I use it primarily for gaming but use it for any other keyboard related activity I need to do and like the feel of it.

Has the Cherry Black switches.

The warranty on it is only for a year and I found that with heavy game use over 2 years my keys started to get a little loose and would sometimes fall off when moving the keyboard around. I think my problem could be fixed with a replacement set of keys but I haven't ordered any yet. Replacement keys can be found for it.

I have felt the Storm Trigger and it doesn't feel as sturdy. I like the build quality and feel of the 6Gv2 better.

Big difference is N roll over is limited to 6 on Storm Trigger while N roll over is unlimited with 6Gv2.

PS/2 connection on 6Gv2 is allow for more N roll over while the USB limits the Storm Trigger N roll over to 6.

I have never heard of or seen the QF Pro Brown.

I think the 6Gv2 is a very well made no nonsense mechanical gaming keyboard.

I wouldn't point my nose up at anything with 6-KRO, chances are you'll never be limited by it unless you play a multi-player game with a friend on one keyboard; many USB NKRO implementations have a chance to interfere with proper BIOS navigation (in the case of the Noppoo Choc Mini have issues being recognized during boot) and don't always play well with OSs outside of Windows as well.

Easy fix for your loose keycaps would be to use some cellophane or plastic grocery bag; place a small piece on the switch stem so that when you replace your keycap it gets wedged in there.

I own Storm Trigger on MX Blues - Typing is great, but I've few grips about the build construction - the wrist bar plastic is cheap and poor, and already external layer is peeling off. There is no dedicated Windows key, so you have to assign special button in software for it. But, if you assign it, you loose ability to control backlight and use function keys as media keys. There are no dedicated media keys either.

Most horrid thing is software. If you want to program long macros, stay away - it does not remember macro key assignemts after reboot, or sometimes the macros assigned to keys aint working.

Though, if you just want something to type and game on, it's great - quite comfortable keys, nice backlight. It just works. But, if I'd be buying 2nd keyboard, I'd stay away due to software limitations.

Morgoth

most of your grimes about the Trigger is pritty much normal in regards to mechanical keyboards. Most dont even have macro keys.

I think its one of those things if you go mechanical that is what you inspect.

if you need though function get the Logitech 710+ or the Corsair K95.

By QF Pro Brown I mean the Quickfire Pro with brown switches sorry.

Anyway, is the lack of wrist rest on the 6GV2 a problem? Also, is it backlit, thanks.

It's not a problem unless you're resting your wrists/hands while typing; which you shouldn't be doing for health reasons.

I have the CM Trigger Brown switches and its on RMA. The cable connection on the back is just terrible.. I have to keep messing with it to make it work. Also, the keys dont feel very uniform. Some keys feels like they are pressing on cardboard, others feel nice and crisp. The space bar is the worst offender. It just feels completely terrible. I hope the one that get returned to me fixes these issues. Currently im using a Blackwidow blue switches and this thing is amazing.

i have a das keyboard, but i love the qfr when i trying them at a friends house. I also have a filco on order, but if i see a quick fire rapid on sale i would definitely get one as a back up. I am intrigued with TKL though i need my numpad :(. I went and tried the steelseries sgv2 and i felt the mx-black keys were a little too much to pressure for the actuation point. I prefer mx-browns, though if you got the steelseries i would lean you to reds. The blacks are way to fatiguing for day to day use. It is ok for intense gaming sessions but would leave you tired after typing a few papers.

No wrist rest

and that is not a problem for me since I never use a wrist wrest.

Keys are not back lit but I don't care for back lit keyboards.

Running the CM Trigger and very happy with it.
Especially after the replaced it after I beered it-even though I stated that it was not due to defect but my own dumb fault.
Good CS means a lot.
