Just wanted to know if anyone has one yet or will be getting one. Thinking of making another overkill computer when the AMD dual cores come out.

As of yet no just Stew or Amanda in Australia and they build them. I have built two g4 setups already but was wondering if anyone has gotten any of the new blocks (g5,g6)

wow I didn't know Cathar made a G6, havent paid attention to water cooling stuff in awhile though tbh.

G6 must be uber-secret. Not a thing has been said on Procooling about it...

Makes me wonder....

they mention it on the little river site. it's just too expensive to make, between the silver material and the complex fabrication. that's compared to the G5.

ouch ............there goes my kidney and firstborn.

Just look at the site  , seen pics but have not heard about prices etc.

Do you have any links? The only thing I heard on G6 is small blurb on Little River site.

Quote, "The G6, in silver, simulated out to a mere 0.3C better than the G5 (in silver), so its cost and complexity is unjustifiable except as a curiosity."

Doesn't sound like such a block will be manufactured....

Cathar doesn't plan on building the G6, since the gains are very minimal compared to the G5 and the cost far outweigh the increase in performance

I've been waiting for a G5 since Oct. of last yr haha, I've put in my deposit in march and hopefully will be done at the end april? may? who knows really =P

So how do you guys think the Aqua-Computer XT will stand against the G4 or G5 coolers? I'm pretty open minded and would be willing to order one if you thought I could drop a few degrees. :)

sorry, perhaps i should have been more explicit. i was also under the impression that he does not plan on making them, and that it would take the above mentioned items sold to the highest bidder to get the plans for it, and have the thing fabbed up as a one-off.

little river webside says that they need from 1.5 to 8 litres per minute of flow to work optimally, and i think that it would therefore not play well with the rest of your water cooling stuff.

I'd stay away from a g5 with 8 or 10mm fittings (tubing etc.) buying a $200.00 block would defeat the purpose of good cooling. I love my AC stuff but if they didnt have things like the aquaero and aquastream i think the allure would die off atleast for me.
