stopping winxp smp?

Hi,

I'm assuming the proper way to stop the smp client is ctrl-c? I ask because yesterday I tested the smp client in winxp and had trouble restarting it, I didn't save the log but it reported an error and was unable to restart. Does the smp client have trouble restarting workunits?

The FAQ says it can take a few minutes for the cores to finish processing data and shut down. If you try to restart the client before then, it could cause problems.

So, just be sure that before you try to restart the client that there are no more cores running in the task manager. Use the same logic before shutting the computer down, as well.
