I have a p4 3.2 @ stock with an Abit IC7-Max3 1 gig of muskin lvl 1 pc3200. My OS is windows XP running off my WD Raptor 36.7. I have two WD 120 EIDE HDs for storage. I've noticed that when I goto sleep and I leave my computer on my system freezes. If I'm continually using it, it seems fine. But when I wake up my monitors are in standby because of the power feature I set but nothing responds. Even the caps lock light doesn't change. My optical mouse light doesn't dim when i lift it up. My monitors remain in standby. I recently took off the Turn Monitor Off after 1 hour feature. I've always had my Hard Disks to never turn off. I use watercooling in my system. Any idea what the problem is? Could I have a defective cpu or mb? Both are new about 2 weeks old.
 
i beleive in never letting a computer sleep. This can create problems, usually they can't get back up and running. This may be a flaw in Windows, or the hardware itself, not a major flaw but enough to not let you sleep. Or the computer, for that matter.
