stop windows returning to welcome screen after inactivity

I just reformatted my machine, and now I'm noticing a few things that I guess I had customized a long time ago before doing so that have returned to their defaults. One that I can't figure out how to fix is that after 5 minutes or so of inactivity it automatically locks and returns to the welcome screen. It doesn't require me to log in after that, but it does make me have to click again to get back in.

How can I disable that?

In your screen saver options, there is a setting to return to login screen. Uncheck that and you should be good to go.
