The last thread was locked because the mod stated that politics are not hardware. well your wrong in my opinion. Thats what this is all about. Politics are trying to control our hardware, and this bill will effect how our hardware is going to be made and controlled. This bill is going to decided wether you and i are going to have backdoors into our systems if we upgrade to "policeware" hardware. Im sorry but i dont think this political topic can be anymore on topic with hardware. This thread needs to get stickied. Maybe only updated as new information comes out, but i feel that everyone here needs to be informed of what is going to be changing. Those who have the power to vote, even those who feel like it will make no difference need to vote against this bill. I do not want the government in my house every waking moment. Has anyone thought about the ramifications of how far they can take this. Who really can stop the government if they want to cover something up. They can cover things up very well. How do you know they wont give themselves the ability to remote control your computer, and access your webcam. You dont. would you really want to feel like someone can be in your house looking at you without you even knowing. im not saying they will but when was the last time you saw our government stop when you could control more. Our government loves control.

To the mod, im in no way at all trying to defy you. That is not at all what this is about, i love this forum and its moderators for everything they do. im just scared that if we let this drop and dont do everything we can we will seriously regret it. If you feel that this thread is not important to the forum, lock it and i will never utter another word about it on this forum again, i just cant see how this can not be one of the most important topics of the year.
 
Damn straight.... i would agree... that thread was definatly a hardware thread.. i say bring it back!
