Stop Motion.

A couple buddies and I did this at a party the other night, nothing professional at all, but it gave us a pretty good laugh so I thought Id share...
Adventures In Stop Motion.
I have no idea what's going on, though from the filename, I imagine I might if I'd ever seen Rocky V. Looks like it was fun to make, though :). I've done a few things with stop motion, though more with time-lapse photography. Here's one I just did of some coins. It was a bitch to get Adobe Premiere to do what I wanted, though I'm sure it would have been trivial for someone who knew the program. There are a couple more here that I did with just cheap animated-GIF software and that kind of thing.

I also had a cool thing going on with a remote-control camera on the top of the builing I work at. It was monitoring the construction on the building across the street. But the people admining the camera locked up the permissions, so I guess that's the end of that. I can post the video so far, if anyone's interested, but it's not much to look at.

Both those links didnt work for me, but id love to see em, and the video of the building construction, that sounds awesome. I wanna start messing around more with this kinda stuff, hopefully Ill invest in a tripod soon so its not so annoyingly jittery.

Shoot. Try again. I just bounced my page off the W3C Validator, so it should be accessible. I had to restart Apache today, since the PHP 5.0 beta module seems to have some serious memory leaks. Time to upgrade PHP, I guess...

This makes me want to do some stop-motion stuff. Mainly because I don't have a video camera and I still want to be creative by making some story with some funky plot.

I don't know if you want to take the time to look at this, but I did this a while back for a school health project. Ulead VideoStudio 6 LE was a horiffic PITA in the insane amount of time it took to bring these couple hundred pics together on my old Pentium 3. My original MPEG somehow managed to become slightly corrupted but it plays well enough.

Battle of Snacks (4.2MB, 2 min long) -- Warning, for school project :p

All those were great! My buddy Tony used to do alot of amature clay-mation in his video production class, some were pretty good, all of them made no sense so thats what made them funny. Anyone else got anything to share?
