Stock northbridge heatpad question

I am trying to sell my mobo, a epox 570 sli board. can as5 be used with the northbridge heatsink with no issues? or does it need a thermal pad. the pad that was on it was not very thick. there is a little rectangle shape of missing pad that was on the northbridge core/die, that got replaced with as5 when i used a thermalright cooler

i think youll be just fine with as5, just but a blop in the center and put the hs on
