Just got everything installed and powered up for my beautiful brand new system. it looks great and teh GeminII seems to be working awesome!

just one thing bothers me.

I'm getting an idle reading of 31C-32C in the BIOS. Nothing to be alarmed from.

but I'm noticing in certain cooler reviews (anandtech's GeminII review), they are using an X6800 quad core and theyre still getting the SAME IDLE TEMP!

didi screw something up? I noticed the razorblade I used to spread the Tuniq TX-2 Paste put a few scrapes into the processor but i don't think its anything major (I realized it was scraping and then cut out a "plastic spatula" from the intel box). Could this have done something?

I'll post Load temps after i get Vista installed.
 
Shit, my Q6600 is OC'd to 3.6 and I still only get 26-31 IDLE temps.
 
do all Core 2 processors idle at the same temp, seeing as they all clock themselves down with speedstep?
