I bought a C2D to go along with my P5B-Dx for a friend recently. Somehow, the heatsink that came with the chip managed to scrape some of the top layer of PCB around the cirumference of the plastic circle pieces that sit flat on the board after the heatsink is clicked into place. These plastic pieces managed to destroy one of the traces, and scraped the PCB near all four of the heatsink mounting holes. Is there any tips you guys have to avoid something like this from happening again? It manged to kill the motherboard .
