I have a amd64 3000+ running with stock everything, and a msi k8T neo board, and corecenter and every other program says its at 58-60 degrees celsius idle........i put a boxfan beside it and it didnt help...
im sure i setup the amd retail heatsink and fan correct cause this isn't the first time ive done this.....you think i should clean off that retail amd compound and use some s7 silver or something and reseat the heatsink? or is my board just reading shit wrong....which ive read is a common problem with this board

I have a 2.4Ghz A64 FX-3 on an Abit AV8. Running stock it idles around 55-60c as well. Using a heatsink with artic silver 5 too. My water cooling parts should arrive soon, cant wait to cool this spaceheater down.
