Some of you may have seen my older threads about the graphics card issues I had been having. Once I got the replacement GTS450 I noticed that the card was not able to "start" based on what hardware manager was telling me in windows. I found to come out that the power supply I was using was short a few amps on the PCI-E rail so I figured that was the problem.
I ordered a corsair cx430 v2 which had more than enough amps on the PCI-E rail. Got it the other day and then threw it in my computer and I'm getting the same exact issue. Green lines once I get into windows, and the card is still unable to start according to windows.
When I was having problems before I went to a local computer store and they said that it may be the memory on the board. I believe that is what they said, they may have been referring to the RAM?
System Specs:
ASUS ROG Crosshair motherboard
AMD Athlon 64 x2 5000+
OCZ Platinum DDR2 800 (2x1gb)
Seagate 200gb SATA HDD
EVGA GTS450
Corsair CX430
Any help is greatly appreciated... I just want to get my computer up and running again
