Hi I have searched but I can't seem to find what I'm looking for - I have an xfi fatal1ty and z5500s - all I want to do is have the same sound that is coming out of the front channels come out of the surround channels but all I seem to be able to do be it with cmss or whatever is to get some stupid psuedo 5.1 sound rather than mirroring the front channels.. anyone know how to do this?

btw I have used aplugin to do it in foobar but I'm trying to get it to work with vlc

The Z-5500 control pod itself will do what you want. On the Direct input, just press Effect until you see "Stereo x2".
