I'm not exactly sure how to summarize the problem in a short title so it's kind of confusing..
I use an external audio interface since I do recording a lot. I constantly use it, but I do not disable my onboard soundcard. The audio interface is M-Audio FastTrack Pro. It connects through USB 2.0.
So. The interface has two main mono inputs. I connect my mic on the left channel, and my guitar on the right channel. These two inputs mix into a stereo input. The problem is, I used to be able to output both channels in voice chatting (any voip program), but now, the people I'm chatting with can only hear whatever that's connected through the left channel. Seems like I lost the ability to mix both mono into a stereo in voice chatting. I initially thought it's just the specific program, but I tried a lot of other options, and none of them works. It's kind of a rare situation, but can anyone knowing please tell me what I should do?
