Stephen Hawking took a ride on Zero-G and got the chance to experience weightlessness first hand. Hawking called the experience "amazing."

The weightless experience aboard an airplane in Earth's atmosphere underscored a point Hawking has been making in recent months: that the future of the human race is in outer space. Hawking called the experience "amazing," saying in a statement "I could have gone on and on--space here I come."

I've never seen him smile that much...

thats the first thing I noticed. He has given the world so much it is cool to see him smile.

this is gonna send me to hell... but could you imagine him yelling out in joy?

[computer synthesized voice]Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!![/csv]

call me sick, but when I first read the title of this thread, I thought it sounded like Hawkings was in some sort of porn film :(

I smiled when watching the video. Im so glad he got to experience that. Must have been a life's dream.

Looks like the trip doubled as physical therapy. The man can barely move any of the muscles in his face, yet he managed to pull of that huge smile. Good for him

Low gravity / zero gravity are probably the best treatment Hawkings could receive. He should orbit the earth, like that eccentric guy in the movie Contact.
