Damnit. I ordered my 6800 evga from newegg and then I went to evga's website and it turns out I can only step up if bought from oen of those certified stores. WHY NEWEGG WHY!

Also if newegg does become part of that program, can I stepup even If I bought the card before they did?

Hmmm i am pretty sure you can still step it up. I called them like 4 days ago asking the same question and i am not positive but i am pretty sure i heard him say it works for pretty much any website that isnt like ebay or anything like that. I mentioned newegg and he seemed to say it was ok. I would recommend just calling them up..they have all been very friendly at evga.

Alright, thanks man, Im gonna upgrade to next best thing, right now im stuck with 6800 reg, but hey, its looking good when you compare it with x800-9800pro-xt

complaining about a 6800 = lame...

Im still looking to buy my n/u.

yeah I'm still waiting too, maybe that D3 demo will come out this week so it will help convince me! Otherwise I'll just sit here and dream about dx9 goodness. Nvidia board partners need to step up and get their own custom boards on the market!(no step up pun intended:) )

Yea, i was wondering about the step up program as well since i ordered my 6800 nu from a company not on their list. Looking to upgrade to a 6800 GT PCI-E when it comes out.

*crosses fingers that it comes out in less than 90 days*

What are you talking about? I assume you didn't buy a ready made system with a 6800 so that list dosn't apply. Read it again :p
