Steelseries qck?

How are the steelseries qck mousepads? I am looking into cloth surface since i did some research on the hard plastic surface and the surface tends to wear out after some use, causing rough spots to form.

I don’t need a ginormous pad like the qck+ but I would like some other recommendations if the qck mousepad isn’t all that great. this will be my first mousepad since the amd duron years!
 
I have the quick mini and I love it. I use it with a microsoft optical mouse and it tracks great. It can get dirty looking as any cloth mouse pad can, but I've never cleaned mine and it works fine. I don't see any reason to replace it. I used to have the hard Ratpadz mousepad, but prefer the qck
 
I've had two heavies and they are great comfort wise. They don't stay black very long however and most laser mice hate them. I have found that laser mice die prematurely when used on cloth pads. Maybe it was just bad luck though

I wouldn't use anything else, really. The comfort and the silence is irreplaceable in my opinion
 
Alright, thanks guys! I jumped on the steelseries qck on amazon. Now its time to look for a mouse and keyboard.
 
Love the QCK mass, bought two of them, one for work and one for home and after a few weeks all the pain I was having in my wrist has gone away.
 
I've had the larger QCK+ for YEARS now and love it.Havent really had any issues what so ever with it. After a couple years the pad may start to fray on you, but it is very minimal. I use a binder clip to keep the pad on my desk. It doent go anywhere.

FYI harder surfaces will be more slick, but pads work great if you need the control.
 
i have qck+ , their largest version. g400, WMO 1.1a, IME 3.0, XAI, g9x all work perfectly on it. will test out zowie am-gs soon. :)

Really? I'm using a G700 on a QcK mini and it tracks just fine. I'm a bit worried about premature death now that you've mentioned it though.

After using a steelseries qck, I'm much more impressed by the brand NE carries, xtrac. I use an ms explorer 3.0, the essential FPS mouse.
 
I've had the same QcK+ Heavy for about 7 years, still works great to this day

Man I miss that mouse :p . Purchased a Corsair m60 and the steelseries pad about 2 weeks ago and I just want to plug my old 3.0 back in and start using it because I can't aim for shit now.

This, except I just replaced my Talent with a desk top Corepad mat. It's the same size as the big XTrac, but about 3x thicker. I love it. :)

I have the qck + and it tracks perfectly fine on the g9. Good mouse pad that is easy pretty easy to clean just a little soap and water and it's good as new.

Holy crap that is huge. Is ok to use it as a writing surface? I always move my keyboard out of the way when I'm doing my homework. It would be a nice extra as a wrist rest the only thing that spoiled me when I was using an ergonomic 4000.
 
I had a qck and it tracker wonderfully with my g700. My only gripe was that it got dirty fast. I was constantly shaking the fibers off that would get in the way.

I use a different part of my desk when writing/reading, but the pad is pretty firm. I don't think it would be difficult to use it for a writing surface unless you press down hard with a pen/pencil.
