Steel cases question

You don't want that case.
I have a Sonata here. It sucks. Took less than a week for all the feet to fall off. The paint looks like crap. The door is flimsy. The "chrome" cover is already peeling. The power supply is always in danger of overheating even with the panels off. And I do not abuse my cases.
And yes, it's damn heavy too. With a fairly lightweight setup, I'd say it's around 35-40lbs.
Either way, there's no way in hell it's worth the price.

To be honest, the weight of the case is only a small part of the total weight of most computers.
I have both steel cases and aluminum cases, and once you load them up with heavy power supplies, drives, coolers, and such, there really isn't much of a difference between them.
Now as far as the Sonata goes, I've played around with the Sonata before, and never thought it was worth the money.
The Solution series are a much better value if you are looking at Antec cases. This is the one I prefer.

As he said, though; my advice is to stay away from it unless you can get it for, like,$50. Though I know they're not THAT bad

$100 of Sonata, yep. With that chintzy ass sleeve bearing fan that didn't make it a year, relocated to the drive cage. And those unusable rubber mounts that fell apart trying to push through and don't even fit right. And a worthless Antec PSU that jacks itself up to 70C in a 75C ambient, even after being cleaned out. Which doesn't even come close to it's supposed rating at a mere 45C, either.
You couldn't pay me to buy Antec again, and I refuse to sell 'em. I can get better parts for a lot less.
