Why everytime I add favorite servers to STEAM - they disappear once steam is restarted. I have never really had a problem with this before but since I reformated my drive and used the new download of steam, my favorites just don't work.
 
sometimes when I try to find cs servers it only gives me like 30 :mad:


I have to quit and restart cs to get the server list back.

Make sure your filter inst set to insecure only.
 
Try clearing all your filters, I had this problem too until i realized i had condition zero servers filtered while natural-selection servers were in my favorites. Ha!
 
My favorites aren't saving either. And my filters didn't save for that matter. I ended up just editing the file that saves all that info in Wordpad (I can't remember the file name offhand), but I'd much prefer that it actually saved the settings.
