If anyone's interested in the prices across a few different countries, here's a quick look. Prices are pulled from the Steam store, and no taxes are added or subtracted. I believe prices in Germany include 19% VAT, so that's part of the reason their prices appear so high.

Wow. Thats pretty telling at how messed up Steam prices are for everyone in Europe. The Australian calculations are off though. AUD and USD don't have the same value.
 
The prices in the Australian store are listed in USD, so that's why no conversion is taking place.
