Sweet deal, Some great(& not so great) racing titles for a sweet price.

Just grabbed Dirt 2 for $10.

I heard it kind of sucked...but at less than $ 4.00 it probably would be worth it.

I was a HUGE admirer of FUEL. I bought it for full price in the first week last summer, and spent at least 20 hours playing it. I unlocked every map area. For $4 it's easily worth it.

Don't think of it as multiplayer though - it's a single player game.

The motorbikes feel fantastic - you can really get your skids going. There are some really nice 3 wheeled buggies that have to be seen to be believed. Note that I used a 360 controller though. The force-feedback gave the bikes a weight and a feel that you'd miss without it.

But yeah, for $4 - easily worth it. This is the game that most people will miss.

So I was about to buy it when I found that despite owning GRID I would NOT receive an extra digital copy when buying the pack; lame.

It's a great deal, mainly for GRID. I already owned GRID though and I got DIRT2 free with my ATI 5850, but I think I might try Fuel, can't be bad enough not to be worth $4 :p

Dirt and Dirt 2 are great games, although grid looked and sounded fantastic I didn't like the iceskating based handling. Can't say about the others, but it's certainly a good deal if you like racing.

Grab this and a cheap force feedback wheel/pedals and you'll have a lot of fun.

Does the MS Xbox 360 wheel/pedals work with these games?

Yes they do. I use my 360 wheel with it. I have only tested it with Windows 7, though.

cool, I have Win 7 as well. I might just buy Dirt 2 as the others don't really appeal to me.

I went for this.
I already have Dirt1,Dirt 2 and Grid and was just going to get Fuel and Toca3 but the price is so good I figured having all the games available through Steam on 3 different pc's and no discs is worth it.
Downloading Fuel and Toca3 now..
Glad to hear you like Fuel Wabe. I almost bought it for a lot more $ but was waiting for a sale like this.
I'm comfortable enough with a wired 360 controller which I understand works with Toca3 even though it is unrecognized[according to steam forum]

By the way I'm at level 46 out of 50 for Shift!:)

I'm going to bite... I played Dirt 2 on the xbox and it's awesome -- like it better than Forza 3. Gotta try out some new DX11 games anyway.

Codemasters are just up the road from me in Royal Leamington Spa, but I've never bought one of their games. How's that for supporting local 'talent'?

I'm generally a CM fan. I find myself pretty hard pressed not to like one of their games, honestly. I own grid,dirt,dirt2 am considering fuel for this silly lol price too. Although they are only the publisher for fuel my understanding is the devs dropped all support for fuel basically right after release. I almost bought it last year for full price but thankfully read the bad reviews first. i think for 4 bucks like most are saying as a single player game you cant go wrong.

Toca3 I for some reason know little about. When did that come out? i also cant figure out why it flew under my radar when it did come out since i love racing games. In fact I recently just started playing shift after not playing it for months since it is simple the best in cockpit view racing game ever imo.

I bit on fuel. If anyone is interested in knowing how to get it to work in eyefinity, I think I got all the kinks worked out.

Wow...A buddy of mine and myself were just thinking about buying Dirt 2. THIS SOLIDIFIES IT.

there are mods to fix grid. makes it a great game

Toca is pretty old. Looked okay, good variety, if you're a CM fan you might pick it up for kicks, but there are better racing games out there now. Namely the newer CM releases.

Ahh makes sense, thanks.

ToCA seems to drive very well, the graphics are certainly dated in terms of the environment but the cars themselves look surprisingly okay.

Since I already own DiRT2, do I get an extra copy to gift to someone when I buy the pack?

I posted this in the other thread...

Can someone please answer this?

Dirt 1 was released with Starforce DRM when it was originally released. Its the only reason I never bought it. Does the Steam version have any of this additional DRM?

For those who have played Dirt 1 and Dirt 2, is there anything special (racing types, etc.) that is not in Dirt 2? I want to buy Dirt 1 and already have bought Dirt 2. Is it even worth trying out?

i bought dirt 1 again, it has a lot more rally stages than dirt 2. So if you like pure rally then dirt 1 is a good buy.

I dont think the steam version has starforce at least.

Some of the games feature securom right?

■Dirt 2; SecuROM present, no acivations or online verification noted.
■Fuel; SecuROM is present, but details of type and activations are unconfirmed

Some people have been reporting that TOCA3 might still have starforce on the steam version.

Got a message that they were out of keys for Dirt. lol

Selling out! That and the Steam servers are maxxxxxed out.

I went ahead and picked up Dirt and Dirt2 already had Grid.

How's the mp for each game? I already own GRID but I hardly play it because it is on disc =-(.....

Having an awesome time in Dirt2, played GRID, although I'm a newb, I would like to know where to find the mods to make the handling a bit less "icy"

BTW, a gamepad is a necessity for these. I really like these somewhat "older" games - they run awesome on my rig @ 1920X1080 and racing games are meant for the big screen - very immersive.
