• Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.

I've been getting this invite on steam to join this page a person made. Every time I click it, it asks me to log into steam first. Well me being the wiser went to Steams webpage and logged in there. Then I clicked the link. Same thing, asking me to log in. Person assures me it's real and not fake. Here is the link.

EDIT: Linked removed.

Thoughts?

Is there anything about that URL that would lead you to believe it is NOT fake?

Steam Community pages start with "steamcommunity.com"

i got burned on one of those recently. took about a week to get my account back. sites like that pop up all the time. the person who sent you that probably lost their account and someone else is using it.

Its fake. You can join groups in the steam UI. You never need to use a web browser to join groups.

Yah I even tried searching for the chicks profile. Link she provides says it's private. I try searching on the Steam and couldn't find it. I even copied and pasted her name. Still couldn't find it. I reported her and blocked her.
