Stealthing a slot-loading drive?

I've been thinking about stealthing my PX-716AL. As it is, it looks good, but I think that if I could figure out a way to get some brushed aluminum over it, and only leave a slot for the whatever-the-hell-you-call-it, slot itself, it would be awesome. :)

Looking at Grentz's thread, the first idea that comes to me is to do what he did, have a slot cut in a bay cover for me and velcro it on or something like that. :)

Any other ideas?
 
well that is the way to stealth a regular drive but a slot loading drive....

use a front bay cover cut the sides off it, then slick it to the drive front and cut a slot in it. for a switch you can solder 2 wires to the bottom of the drive where to switch is and make a remote switch or just use hotkeys in windows to open

The other way to do it is to camoflauge your slots to look like something else. For my case-mod project I'm putting 2 slot-load slim-drives (laptop) in the same 5.5" bay. In order to stealth them, I could cover them up with a custom grill that has several slots cut into it.

this way, instead of lookign like a blank bezel front with 2 lines cut into it, it'll look more like a grill and therefore "stealthed"
