Funny you should say that. I got a 1050ti swapped for a 1080ti MSI GamingX straight from Amazon. Was missing the shrinkwrap even though it was advertised as brand new. I give them props because they even scanned the serial number of the 1080ti, removed the 1050ti's serial, and then printed out the 1080ti serial and affixed it to the card (though the cut job was bad). Pretty sure it was attached with a glue stick.
