Startup prob on new core duo

On startup I get "CPU uCode Loading Error"

I just skip past it, proc works fine, just makes me wonder.
 
it means the bios wasn't programmed to understand the cpuid. new bios would fix it if it has support for it. if not, no worries. as long as the motherboard knows how to boot it, it's all the same :)
 
Yep, just means the bios doesnt fully recognize the cpu, find the updated bios for your board and flash it and that will go away. My wifes did the samething awhile back.
