Here are some pice of what I've done so far. I still need to seal the front of the case in these photos to keep air from recirculating back through the radiator.

Tell me what you think. The only think I havn't bought yet are the waterblocks and the fill port for easy and tidy t-line filling
 
I just wish they made an all aluminum verson. I'm gonna have to use a tote strap on the thing to take it to lan parties.

I may have to get different fans also those yate loons are nice and quiet but don't flow jack. I'll try them out first and see how they work.

well, plenty of people get enough performance out of a pair of panaflo low 120mm fans, so i think that those three yate loons would be enough.

if they are not, how do you feel about selling them to someone who cannot get yate loon product domestically? i would like to try them out, if possible, given the good things that i have heard from american users.
 
I want to try them first. Probably be a month before I get it all up and running. If I don't like their performance I wouldn't mind.
 
That's gonna be nice. I have the same case and love it for the most part. The rail system on the optical drive bays is a little wonky but nothing you can't work around. Did you mod the pumps yourself or did they come that way? It looks like they're still 3/8" inlets?
 
I can run them in series and get a large increase in head pressure and if one goes out I'll have time to replace it rather than pump failure -> overheat -> possibly rupturing a hose from the heat and pressure and potentially screwing my whole comp.. It's just a little extra assurance against disaster. Yeah it's a 3/8 fiting that spreads out to a 1/2should net the same results as far as I can tell; since either way I'd have to go from 3/8 to a 1/2 either through an adapter or whatever. and yes I modded them myself 15 min on my mill, a little plastic epoxy and curing time and vola

Probably gonna come down to the thickness of the rad. If you have BIPro, the Yate Loons' will do fine, at least they do on my BIPro2. A thicker rad will require more cfm/pressure, however. I don't think the YL's will perform very well on the BI Extremes.
 
I guess we'll see how they do. It's a Black Ice XtremeIII Radiator. So it's pretty thick.
 
You'll most likely be fine. I have my fans running at 25% and only get marginal gains when cranked up to 100%. This is with a dual hc with cpu and gpu blocks. A triple rad with even a nominal amount of airflow through it will keep most systems nice and cool.
 
Youll be fine with the Yate Looms, you already have plenty of flow, and thats a big enough rad to just about run it passively. I also second the desire for a TJ06 alu, but thats why Im looking at a P180 (whenever it comes out :mad: ).

As for the dual pumps, its not hurting anything, he has the money, and wants to have as much security as possible. Just remember when you get everything done to use hose clamps & leak test, or your harware might not live long enough to get cooled by such nice components :)

It looks so great that I've decided to rip off the idea and do a near identical project.

I had it up and running, but I had to remount my vid waterblock and got a bunch of air into my loop. I'm working it out now, but I think I may have to remount my cpu waterblock also and temps would be worthless until all the air is out of the system in either case. Damn the way I have the closed loop setup makes it hard to get all the air out. The thing has to run for a day if frothy mode before it all clears up.I have more pics, but I switched from dish to wireless broadband and now I'm having trouble connecting to the ftp server I use for the pics. argh! I'll post updated pics and temps when I get all the kinks worked out on both ends.

Note: Those barbed fittings I had to use on the modded pumps suck. Even with gear clamps and tygon I couldn't get them to seal. I ended up getting them where, I wanted them smearing the barbs with epoxy, pushing them back on and bonding the hose and barb together to get it to stop pissing all over the place.
 
actually I think your system is what inspired me to choose the tj06. Only thing I don't like about mine are the wires coming out of the PSU showing a bit at the top. They were also a paine to route behind the back panel and still have the panel fit into place, but w/o buying a new PSU I'm not sure there is much I can do about it. I can't see it most of the time anyway. :) Now they just need to come out with TB SATA HD's so I can cut down on the clutter associated with the hard drives and further my dream of a TB raid array for my movies and music.
