This problem has just started happening a couple days ago. When ever I play a game, about 10-30min into that game I get either a crash to desktop or a blue screen. I mostly get blue screens though. I haven't changed anything in my system. But for some reason when I play a game like Dawn of war 2 I can play for 1h+ with out blue screening or crashing. Every other game crashes for me...

Do you think my card is dieing? That would suck:eek:

Thanks.

Check your temps and blow out the dust? Have you googled the error message you get from the BSOD?

No I haven't. I just looked into my pc case and my cpu fan has a bunch of dust on it. Could this be the problem? I'm going to clean it out and report back...

Maybe your cpu is starting to degrade. Try lowering your clock. Are you alt tabbing out of the games when they crash?

When the game crashes it either goes straight to the desktop or my game freezes and my computer is unresponsive and I have to manually restart my pc.

I'm at work now, but i'll be home soon and will start cleaning out the dust. I'll report back later.

Well I just super cleaned my PC with this big ass air compressor my dad has. I played team fortress 2 for about 1h30 and it didn't crash where as before it crashed in like 20min.

So, I guess dust was the problem. I'll try out another game and see how that goes.

Yeah...I was going to suggest cleaning the CPU cooler/fan and video cooler/fan as well. Dust build-up is a very common problem on any PCs. Glad that fixed the problem.
