Here is my problem,

I left my computer on over night and woke up this morning and tried to load up vent, it would load up fine but when i would connect to the server it would seem to connect fine but when i would try to talk it would use my push to talk.I figured I just needed to restart my computer so i restarted my computer. I got the "Start Windows Normally" screen and i tried to hit enter on my keyboard (Logitech G15) and it wouldnt work, i let the time run out and let my computer start up. After the Windows Loading screen (Blue loading bar) my screen went black and nothing happened. I let me computer sit turned off for about 20 min thinking it just got too hot. So I started it back up and it did the same thing. Pissed me off so I got my windows CD and put it in to just formatt and it would load the CD then when it would get to the part after loading everything it would say "Windows is starting" (something like that) on the formatt blue screen at the bottom left and it would sit there forever and not do anything. This is the first time this has happened to me and I know i didnt do anything for this to happen. Could it just be the heat should i let my computer sit for an hour or so? Did my hard drive crash? What could my problem be...

I tried to load up in safemode and it starts to load everything fine then it stops on

"Windows\System32\Drivers\mup.sys"


Im using Windows XP Pro.
