this is a dumb question but i cant remember where to go...i need to get rid of some of the things that load(that load at the bottom right next to the clock) when i start my computer...

i have win2k

i thought it would just be under explorer/start menu/startup but its empty

can someone help me out please
 
go to run than type in MSCONFIG.
from msconfig there should be a startup option of checkboxes.

Sorry, no MSconfig in 2000.

Try looking in the startup group for "all users".

If you still don't see anything its time for a good regedit.:)
