Yeah, I read that earlier. For some of the shots that will likely be awesome, but for alot.... not so much ....

And why is this in Video Cards?

In video cards as Nvidia has 3D support now. I am not going to buy a 3D HDTV, I like my 1080p 2D just fine the way it is, but was wondering if anyone else is going to use 3D on their cards to watch this.

I don't know if this is the right place for you to post this. It will be moved or buried but what the hell glad to hear it.

That year will have an EPIC battle between TSMC 28nm and Globalfoundries 28nm when it comes to video cards. What better year to see some of the best films ever in 3D?

The fact that it is in 2012 makes me cautiously optimistic they are serious about doing it right. Going from 2D film to 3D is going to be EXTREMELY hard work and there is going to be many things they just wont be able to touch.

However one of the BEST things about this is they are going to be in Theaters again! Pardon me if I am incorrect but IV V and VI were last shown in 96, 97 right? And that was when they were digitally remastered.

Man the Theater is going to be crowded and I am sure I will be able to hear the groans from a mile away when Han shoots second.
