Star Trails tonight!

I am attempting to get some star trails tonight. Going to be heading out soon to scout out a location.I am excited to try this. Going to be a long night. As soon as i can get my pictures stacked, i will post them here. Im off until wednesday, so i should have the time.

We went out for 8 hours. Spent about 2 hours for this set of pictures.

2 hours is a nice compromise. The startrails are not too short, and they aren't overly long that they blend together.

Did you get a shot of the trees lit with flash, or a flashlight, that you can overlay on?

No, i didn't get a shot of the trees lit.The only flash i had is on my camera, and didnt have a flashlight. Next time though i do plan on taking a flash light. Its looks better with the foreground lit up.
