though I did have a WU that is still in the queue.... I tried to manually send it, still wouldn't go.....

Ok... yeah... I've got WU's pending, and having trouble bringing up their main site.

I'm willing to bet their IT dept is in a bit of a tissy right now... ;)

My thinking is that something happened to *.stanford.edu.


I have made no changes to Internet policy, so I'm checking to see if this isa wider problem than just me, before I go "higher" in the IT food chain...

I'm getting to them as well, but I've noticed at times that it doesn't seem like their DNS entries always resolve. I'm not sure if this happens outside my office, but its a possibility.

create a shortcut to the client and add "-send xx" after it... where xx is 00, 01, etc

xx is the server? I have the connection working now...

Local DNS server needed a "diagnostic tap"...

no... xx is the work unit... F@H has slots for 10 WUs.... 00, 01,...., 08, 09... if you're using EMIII, you can see which unit it queued... if it's queue position 05, make the flag "-send 05"....
