I've been Googling places from which to buy some standoffs (to replace the ones included in Lian-Li cases), but I'm not sure what exactly I want. I was wondering where you guys get yours, or what place is the best to get them from.
 
Those won't work, I believe he is talking about the square metal stanoffs that Lian-Li use to use, or still does in some of their cases. As for knowing where to get them? Don't have a clue.

I just remembered the place that I bought my Lian-Li mobo tray from has them!!! LINKY!!!!

I bought some for the motherboard try that I bought, and for my Kingwin case that uses them also. :D
 
I read that wrong, though he wanted to replace his existing lian li standoffs with regular ones.

He could always drill into the tray and tap 6-32 threads. That's what I would do.
 
Actually, the real problem is that my motherboard has to bend upward to fit into the I/O shield. All the ports come at an angle in their respective openings. I'm pretty sure it isn't the build of the mobo tray.

And because of the curve, my video and sound cards don't fit exactly right. It has me a bit worried, though it's been working fine for the five or so months I've had it up and running.

Maybe someone offers a replacement mobo tray without the square holes, and one that will fit in my Lian-Li and all that?
 
I had that exact same curving problem with an old case of mine. I couldn't figure out why, everything looked to be made to ATX spec...

Was it a Lian-Li? And what did you do, just leave it like that? I'm hesitant to upgrade my video card 'cause there's no way the cards are seated 100% properly. I looked at the angle of the mobo tray, and to the naked eye it looks to be 90 degrees. Maybe I should measure it.

It was one of those generic beige cases with regular standoffs.
 
Just wanted to mention that standoffs come in (mostly) two different sizes... I have a huge bin of screws and standoffs and the like from building so many computers and there are different sizes... If your motherboard is flexing up to meet up nicely with the port plate, the standoff size is most likely the problem... get some longer ones (or shorter) to make it fit properly...

Most local computer mom and pop shops will sell several bags worth of screws and standoffs for very little money... I reccomend paying them a visit if you need them quickly. Otherwise I googled "ATX standoffs plastic" and "ATX standoffs brass" and got all sorts of good results... All very cheap... Not sure which ones you need...
