I'm getting a new pc in a week (once the intel prices drop) and the case I am getting is the Coolermaster Stacker 832.
First the specs so you know what my new specs will be
Intel Quadcore Q6600 (overclocked to 3.0 GHz)
4 GB OCZ DDR2 PC2-9200 Reaper Ram
BFG 8800GTX OC2 (x2 for SLI)
2x Western Digital 150 GB Raptor Hard Drives
1x 500 GB Hard drive
Soundblaster Xi-fi Gamer
DVD Drive
DVD writer
Floppy drive
Now from the specs I read on the stacker 832. There's 2 pre-installed fans (1 front 1 rear) I want the best aircooling solution with keeping the noise at a reasonable level. So here are my questions
1. On the side panel, I was thinking 4 Vantec Stealth 120mm fans. Would this be sufficient for the side panel?
2. Should I maybe add a second 120mm fan to the front or top of the case to improve airflow? (or both?)
3. Is it a good idea to have a fan controller installed so that I can control the side panel fans to reduce noise if any while idle?
4. Should I add an additonal fan in the rear such as a pci cooler or something?
I'd like to keep this case as cool as possible. I think with my setup the Stacker is the best choice. I know water cooling would be best but I'm not ready for that risk yet. I'd like to keep it as cool as I possibly can but without it sounding like a jet all the time. I think the Vantec Stealth's will help in that regard but am interested in opinions.
Thank you
