So a friend of mine who lives across the country claims he has one, but he can't sell it because it is a factory rep's prototype, and that it is missing parts.

Does anyone believe him? I asked for pics, but his cam was "at the office where the case is."

So, where can I buy the Stacker 2?
 
when you say 2, which are you referring to? the 810 or the 830?

the 810 is just like what we know as the Stacker(STC-T01) but instead it has 2 120mm fans on the rear and i think ditches a top mounted PSU in favor of bottom mounted. not sure if they include a bracket to use a psu there instead of the 2nd 120mm fan.
The 820 is similar except its a BTX case, says CM.

the 830 is the totally redesigned version with the giant sidepanel that can support up to i think 4 80mm, 92mm, 120mm, or 140mm fans.


the 810 wont be available until the end of this month and the 830 isnt available. im going to say your friend is full of crap.
 
Dunno but is an awesome looking case. Does it come with any fans? I know it holds loads of them.

mine came with an 80mm fan and 2 120mm fans that push about 11CFM :rolleyes:
 
I'm sorry, I didn't realize there were so many different Stackers. I was referrring to the 830. The completely redesigned version with the door that can swin either direction, has 4 fans on the side panel, etc...

Google is your friend. I never said "My" friend claimed to have one Sarver did.
 
Yeah. My friend said he had one, and said he'd take pics. He didn't take pics, and says he can't sell it to me because it is a sample piece.

First of all, he has no retail location, so he has no need for a sample. Secondly, he is a new reseller for Cooler Master, so why would they plop down the most expensive of their cases for a sample for him? Thirdly, why would he need a sample at all?
 
Don't tell me, he was chatting with you on MSN Messenger and used a bunch of those >:) evil faces when he told you..lol

There are some reviews but no stores that I could locate ... even the coolermaster contest won't award this until November. He was pulling .... something or trying anyway.
