I was wondering if there were any sites out there that did hardcore stability testing? I am talking about putting a rig together and testing it for like 2 weeks straight. Installing common games and applications on them and noting any bluescreens, or repeated problems with any games. Combinations of hardware that worked the best in the long term and experienced little to no problems. I think it would be great to see [H] do something like this.

For example when a new board comes out, do the initial review with performance then begin a long term test for say X amount of weeks and then post a followup of the experiences and/or problems and their fixes if any. I know I would definately benefit from this as I ended up with a via chipset that has caused so many headaches in the past with just annoying problems that I would read about that effected other people as well.

I realize now with my next system I want to concentrate more on stability and reliablity then having a motherboard that performs 100 points better in 3dmark01 but is unstable. Is there hope for finding such systems that have been hardcore tested for stability out there?
