I got my machine put together installed Win 7, installed video card drivers and x79 chipset drivers.

Asus x79 Sabertooth
Corsair Vengeance LP DDR3 1600
i7 3930
OCZ 1250W
NVidia GTX 280
2x OCZ Vertex 3 in RAID 0 configuration (latest firmware on both 2.15)

I started my downloads SC2, BF3 and left for the day. Machine downloaded all of the contents and installed everything fine. I got home and started patching the games up and turned on ESPN3. About 10 minutes the PC locked up and I heard grinding like noises from the speakers. Restart the PC and run memtest all night. Memtest runs for 12 hours passing 3 times without any issues.

I start windows up and run Prime 95 while watching some more ESPN 3. It ran for about 30 minutes and the machine BSOD. This was the BSOD I got.

HWiNFO64 is reporting that the highest core temp is 67C. There is no OC, everything is completely stock.

I am going to run Prime95 and nothing else and see how long it stays up (I really don't think that is going to matter).

The first grinding noise lock up my friend said was the same exact symptoms he had when he built his PC. He said he ran Memtest and it came back fine but he replaced his memory and it hasn't done it since and has been completely stable.Could it be possible that the memory is bad but now show that in memtest?

The BSOD makes me think that the problem might be the SSD as people have reported the vertex 3's causing BSOD issues.

So my question is should I start replacing the memory or the SSDs first? I am really leaning towards replacing the HDD due to the fact that the thing did BSOD and that is a symptom of the SSD that everyone was reporting.

It is possible for that to happen.

I'd lean towards the SSDs as well. Drop down to one SSD, reinstall the OS in trial mode, and proceed from there. Try updating the firmware on those OCZ Vertex 3 SSDs.

Though in terms of replacement/testing costs, the RAM would be the cheapest since there's a ton of deals right now for 8GB of RAM for $30.
