SSD's - not so silent

It was my understanding that SSD's were silent, but that's not the case with the OCZ 64gb V2 I bought. Here's the electrical noise it makes at idle and load (recorded as an external drive):

If you have the patriot or g.skill model, does it make noise as well?

Have you tried holding it up to your ear (and transferring a file)? When I do that, mine sounds like a mix between a 56k modem and a quiet hdd

No, but I had it out of the computer lying on my desk and couldn't hear anything.

Sometimes motherboards/power supplies/etc make noise and its not an issue, its just some component vibrating very fast. I would talk to OCZ support.
