I'm intrested in some SSD (SS Stoage)... something along the consumer level... ie, something in the 150-750 dollar range. I currently have IDE, SATA, Firewire and SCSI 160UW but would buy another interface if needed.

Also it needs to be able to save state without battery or power (ie. complete blackout).

Suggestions? I'm looking for something FAST. It'll probably be limited by the interface, but anyknow know of some good (fairly cheap) Solid State Disks?
 
Gigabyte iRAM, provided that your power outage lasts < 18 hours and doesn't reoccur to frequently.

Only solution that's remotely affordable. And its like 150 dollars for the i-ram... then you need to fill it with sticks of ddr, or ddr2 in case of the iram2. Caps out at SATA150 bus speed for the Iram, and SATA2 bus speed for the Iram2 iirc.
