Hi!

Does anyone know below listed SSD disks are compatible with latest VMware ESXi 6.0 ??

SSD Samsung 850 EVO 120GB SATA3 2,5" (MZ-75E120B/EU

and

SSD Intel 530 Series 120GB SATA3 540/480MB/s 7mm Single Pack - SSDSC2BW120A401

What are you asking? If you are asking if they will be seen by ESXi, then the answer is yes since the file system/controller is what ESXi sees. If you are referring to passing UNMAP commands, etc. to them then I would need to look it up. Even that is a question mark until you run the command from what I have read.

Whole purpose is swap OS from usb stick to SSD.
So on this drive will be only Vmware ESXi 6.0

Some newbie question. What is UNMAP ? Is this about reclaim space ? lun?
 
Why would you want to put ESXi on an SSD? That's a waste - it doesn't need performance for anything.
