I just recently got the OCZ Vertex 3 240GB SSD and just today when I opened Speedfan it reports that the drive is running at 128C which does not seem normal to me. Just yesterday and today my computer is randomly restarting itself and I suspect that my SSD temps are too blame. How do I lower the temps? My other drives are running at around 38-40C which seems normal. All my drives are near the 200m fan where my HAF X case is holding the drives.

I think your ssd temps probe is way off i dont think a ssd can get that hot unles thers a short in it or something have you felt the drive? At 128c the thing would burn you if it was really that hot

The drive itself doesn't even feel that warm, I've downloaded two different types of hard drive temp monitors and they both report the drive is running at 128C.
