I have a DFI X-38 T2R + Q9550 with dual 4870s (which I am going to upgrade to 6970) and want to upgrade my VRaptor to an SSD.
The rest of the system is fine - the proc is under water and close to 4Ghz without breaking a sweat, and if I upgrade the GPU, the 8Gb of RAM I have means that the weakest part of my system is probably the VRaptor (who would have thought that would be true even 2 years ago!)
I recently picked up a couple of the Newegg Business Kingston V100+ drives which went in a couple of laptops and made a nice upgrade for very few pennies, but I want something a little beefier for my gaming machine.
Let's hear your recommendations for a MAXIMUM budget of $200 for something like 96Gb to 128Gb for the above system. I might consider an open box or refurb for someone like Corsair or possibly OCZ if the original warranty is intact, otherwise, what other bargains are out there?
