i have been running 2 128GB corsair nova drives for about 5-6 months now on my onboard raid-0 troubles at all, but today decided to benchmark them to see how they were doing.

here is a score from back when i installed them.........

and here is todays score.............

do these scores look normal, i have used about 70GB of space on the array, and use it to do video editing sometimes because it seems faster.

also if i put the PC into sleep mode say after 1 hour, will garbage collection still work ?
right now i just allow the montior to sleep after 15 minutes, but was looking to save some power.

No.

trim will not work with raid, you need to wait till intel releases the rst 11.5 (q2 2012).

I don't know those drives/your MB or how your RAID is set-up but I'd say it's a very good indication that they spec the same now as when they were installed.

i know that, i am talking about garbage collection on the drives, that runs in raid-0
Absolutely, GC runs in RAID0 or any other RAID configuration.

AFAIK the older Gen1 SSDs had to be idle for the GC to work but as everything else it's been improved to the point where it will work without the drive being idle.

Your test score are an indication that everything is doing what it's supposed to be doing.

Like I said I'm not familiar with your drives but those ASSSD scores seem really low and I've never seen an Access time of 0.000.

I really don't think that's possible.
