so im building a new computer, i know a bit about ssd but i guess not completely. saw several ssd with similar specs and same company but totally different prices. i was under the impression that its all about the size in memory, and the read/write speed. these two seems to throw me of to why one is way more than the other.

i know one is 250 gb more and seems to be cheaper. not sure if the brand is worth that much more. i dont mind having 250 gb less for this slave and i dont mind droping 10 bucks more. just wondering what is a better suggestion

hahahaha yea i get discounts. its a fry only pick for me before my discounted person quits his job.

The Corsair Force 3 is cheaper because it uses async NAND, which is generally slower... (I think mostly in random read / writes.)

There are better drives out there for better prices (i.e., on sale) if you can shop outside of Frys.

where would you suggest to get it? i assume fry is good cuase they price match and i am getting discount. but forget the price. im looking for a very fast ssd 240gb+, and two internal slaves. one 4tb+ for movies going in my sata dock for my haf x. ill be removing that back and forth and also another one 750gb-1000gb(1tb) just in the inside as slaves. im hoping for all fast hard drives,

Crucial M4 or Samsung 830. For 99% of applications you will not notice a performance difference between these or most other current SSDs. These are good choices because of their excellent reliability.

If you check slickdeals.net and sign up to the newegg daily promotions, you can find good sales at least once a week.
