SSD + Prime95 + Wireless Mouse = Deadish Mouse?

I recently purchased and installed a Samsung 840 Evo. Everything was working perfectly until I installed Prime95. When it is running, my mouse (Logitech M525) pointer won't move or respond unless the mouse is almost directly next to the tower near it's USB receiver. It never did this pre-SSD. Any suggestions besides getting a corded mouse or removing my SSD? ;) Thanks in advance.

Going out on a limb here and gonna say it probably has nothing to do with the ssd.
Could have been prime causing excessive stress to some motherboard components.

Tried different usb ports and stuff?

I had a lot of problems with my wireless mouse and keyboard until I put the dongle on a 12 inch usb extension so that the signal was not shielded by my all metal kvm.

Turns out it doesn't like demanding games either when the CPU is stressed. Strange, as I've never had this problem before until the SSD, but it does seem like a signal issue as opposed to an SSD issue. I'll try other USB ports. Unfortunately I can't move my tower nor the mouse location... I like the extension idea, any others?

Currently running Prime95 and using my wireless mouse. Just had to throw it in a different USB. Sorry for the hassle, next time I'll do a little trial and error.
