I moved my Mozilla Firefox cache, to another partitition ( HDD )
The OS is on SSD. Should i change it back, guys ?
Does it really affect the lifetime of the SSD ? I have this SSD since last November.
Would Mozilla Firefox open faster with the cache browser on SSD ?
What about RAM disk ?
Please give me some advices, thanks a million.
 
put your cache back on your ssd, or move it to ram

you will not affect the lifetime of it

How much RAM do you have? A RAM disk is a good option, if you have RAM to spare, but otherwise just put it back on the SSD. Drive life is not an issue at all. And I have my Firefox cache on a RAM drive, and it doesn't seem any faster, so I wouldn't worry too much about speed.

2 GB is probably more than enough. You can always re-adjust it if you feel like you need more or less. But with 8 GB of RAM I hardly ever hit swap even when I get a little crazy with open applications.
