It's a few weeks that I have my first SSD and there are a few things I don't quite know yet.

One of the warnings I read was that you shouldn't test them to get the specs of your specific unit, as that seemed to stress the SSD and shorten its life.

Another was that you didn't need to do a Disk Cleanup as I at least do every time I delete some large files from my HDD. Is that right?

What maintenance should we stick to?
 
If you are using Win7 or Win8, no maintenance is needed. TRIM will automatically occur.

Benching a drive a few times will result in no harm done. Benching it hundreds of times will wear on the drive.
